Class Structure and Team-Based Learning
In IIMT required curriculum is pursued by a team of faculty members who collaborate to integrate content across courses and introduce innovative ideas and approaches to the learning of the Management curriculum. And its result is repeated by both the faculty and the students.Within courses, students work in small teams to tackle special special projects and present their results. Teams are carefully assembled to balance strengths and interests and to facilitate collaboration. This team based approach to both teaching and learning is emphasized throughout the curriculum and is intended to serve as a model for environments in which students will practice in the future.
Case Study : The Simulation Method
IIMT brings the complex realities of business into the classroom through the powerful medium of case studies; both real and stimulated.It is an interactive process which stimulates the expertise and hidden potential of the budding managers making them more confident to deal with the practical problems of the corporate world.
IIMT cases, are first hand account of the actual management situation. The cordial point of the cases are the problems that erupt in the work place. And it involves organizations ranging from high-tech start ups to Government. The Institute has undertaken the task of developing comprehensive case studies in Fundamental and Functional management areas. Apart from this, the consultancy service provided by the Institute offers an opportunity to the faculty for case development which enriches the classroom teaching thus, contributing to the process of integrated learning.
Personality Development
Any amount of knowledge and skill is of a little use unless the total personality gets empowered. The young graduates are trained to become all round managers by exposing them to the modern techniques of Yoga, Stress Management, Public Speaking, Corporate Communications, etc. These courses are to be supplemented with some creative hobby classes in the follwing areas:

The students are exposed to the Industries through organised tours for their over all understanding of the business activities in the related fields.The is aimed to keep the students in constant touch with the actual practice followed in business organisation. They are also encourged to take up research based projects from Industries.
Academic-Industry Interaction
Eminent people from the industry are invited with a definite purpose of making our students aware of the practical implications of applying class room knowledge to the real business scenario.Simultaneously our students are also made to visit various industrial units so as to make them visualise their own futuristic role in discharging their duties towards the business world.
